Anterior corticospinal tract - so called Pyramidal tracts. Their function are control of voluntary, descreate, skilled movements. They are set of lerge axons within promary motor cortex at precentral gyrus. 75 - 90 = of the fibres decussate at border between spinal cord and oblongata and run in laterel corticospinal tract. Rest of fibers runs ipsilateraly in ventral corticospinal tract then also decussate near to their termination. Both pert of the corticospinal tract terminate at ventral horn nuclei.
