Internal cerebral vein - pair vein. It arises et the interventricular foramen by junction of the three veins. Anterior vein of septum pellucidum receives blood from septum pellucidum and head of caudate nucleus. Superior thalamostriate vein lies along terminal stria and collect blood from striatum, thalamus and internal capsule. Superior choroid vein conducts blood from choroid plexus of the IV. ventricle. Both internal cerebral veins run within roof of the third ventricle toward pineal gland where they forming the great cerebral vein (with two basal veins).
